How To Play
Two tanks, one cramped 3D maze, zero patience for hesitation. Player one rolls with W, A, S, and D, firing with T, while player two takes the arrow keys and fires with P, so this is very much a shared-keyboard, elbow-to-elbow kind of setup. Each magazine holds five rounds and that's it, no infinite spray here, which means every shot fired into a wall instead of a chassis actually stings a little. Scattered through the arenas and corridors are power-ups worth grabbing mid-chase, and landing five clean hits before your opponent does is the whole ballgame. Against the CPU it's a decent warm-up, but the real friction shows up when a friend is sitting next to you yelling about wall-bang shots.
The labyrinth layout is what keeps this from feeling like a flat shooting gallery. Corners turn into ambush points fast, and because ammo is so limited, a lot of matches turn into cat-and-mouse standoffs where nobody wants to round a blind turn first. The tank handling has a bit of weight to it too, not floaty at all, so lining up a shot down a long hallway takes an actual beat of aiming rather than just spraying and praying. It's rough around the edges visually, sure, but the core loop of stalking, baiting, and finally landing that fifth hit lands surprisingly well for something this small.
Pro-Level Advice
Don't burn all five shots chasing an angle that isn't there yet; a missed round in these corridors basically hands your opponent a countdown to reload panic. Learn the maze's dead ends and use them to bait shots instead of hiding in them, since a cornered tank with no ammo left is just target practice. Power-ups are worth a detour even if it costs you a few seconds of positioning, because an ammo refill mid-standoff flips the whole fight in your favor.
